Johnny & Jack
I took this photo at a St.Louis venue which also included Roy Acuff, Elvis Presley and a few other Grand Ole Opry stars. That's Shot Jackson on the dobro, Benny Martin on fiddle, & I believe it's Lester Wilburn on the bass. I can add a little additional info here. Johnny Wright was Kitty Wells husband. My friend Paul wound up buying Shot Jackson's dobro a couple years or so later. Paul later became an Ozark Ridge Runner - John Hartford's first band before the Ozark Mountain Trio. I might add also that years later Benny Martin became a close friend and mentor of John's.
