Unbelievably I woke up several times
through the night hearing old time music being performed. I'd love to have gone
over there and listened but my old body was just too tired. Wait till next year
though. I was able to set up
my tent about 200 feet from the big tent where the main stage was setup for the
shows but most of the jammin' took place under the same tent. A
new friend and opening performer for the convention, Sarah Wood was one of 4
people I found still under the tent jammin'. Believe it or not, it was about
6:30 in the morning and this group had been there all night long. Sarah and the
3 others are real troopers in my book. You have to have a strong passion and be
willing to throw sensibility to the wind or you will never do something like
they did. These are my kind of people and they really turn me on.
You guys are incredible. I went back
& packed up to leave, than brought the
camera over to tape them for awhile before my drive back to St.Louis. One of the guys had split by
the time I got back, so there were 3 left, that you see in the "Morning After"
video. I'm kind of proud of the fact that this was recorded about 7:30 Sunday
morning and after my 415 mile drive back to St.Louis, this clip was posted here
on the website by that evening.
This video was filmed in high
definition and rendered to 640 X 480
