High Mountain Hay Fever

How about some plain, down to earth entertainment that doesn't tax your brain. Leroy took me back to the golden era of country music with a style of music that you always found mixed in with the the traditional country and bluegrass of the 40s and 50s. I found him to be a welcome breath of fresh air, as my body and soul absorbed all the entertainment at the festival. I think a lot of you will to. Many of you have never seen entertainers like Bashful Brother Oswald, Stringbean, Uncle Dave Macon, Lonzo & Oscar, or Cousin Jody. I have seen all in person many times with the exception of Uncle Dave and can honestly put Leroy into the category of these performers and with an equal or better presence on the stage. I look forward and welcome Leroy and more entertainment like him to be added to the artist lists at festivals I attend. I will do my best to search out and find video clips of the performers mentioned above, so that I might show you what I am talking about. In the meantime, take a look and a second and third look at these clips of Leroy and I think you will find that he'll grow on you if he doesn't from the start.

I have no business relationship with the following artist or artists but if you enjoy this video and these performers, please check out their websites by following the links I have provided below. These artists need our support by attending their shows and purchasing their commercial CDs or they wouldn't be able to continue to give us the enjoyment of seeing and hearing them perform. Most artists provide a schedule of where they will be performing. I use their schedules all the time to make my own plans for attending live shows throughout the year.
